There's a stirring sensation that comes from one, simple, sweeping motion in this delightful illustration. This is a monotypia - meaning I create the paint stain first, and then turn it into a picture. So - many of the effects were not exactly created by my hand - they kinda turn out themselves :)

But I'm working in this technique with a great pleasure, and there will be more pictures of this sort soon!!
