I dont know how you did it, but you somehow managed to capture the exact lighting and color scheme i had always envisioned rohan as having (light yellow fields some how existing Under deep, dark clouds) an the composition is terrific. beautiful work

This painting had quite a startling resemblance to a recent work of mine, [link] I do see that yours is older, though ;P
A very interesting idea for the cover of the second novel, as people would much rather expect to see the members of the fellowship and not a rider of Rohan (even though they play a pretty big role in this part). Quite original indeed :clap:
